This monday night January 18th at 6:30PM, we will begin our study of Thomas Aquinas’s “Summa Theologica” using Peter Kreeft’s “Summa of the Summa”. We meet on the third monday of every month for a couple hours over dinner and great beer in the Trojan Room at Brown’s Brewing Company. The first night is more of a lecture style classroom where we learn about the author, his life and times, and his writings. We’ll also hand out the reading assignments for the study. On average we read about 75 pages a month and then gather together to discuss that reading. Even if you don’t feel like you can do the reading, you are welcome to only attend the intro lecture on monday night. However, it is a big help to us if you register HERE. The older blue 3 volume series is Aquinas’ Summary of Theology (Summa Theologica), while the blue and yellow book next to it is Kreeft’s Summary of the Summary (Summa of the Summa).
