Compassion

As a collective body we have strategically chosen Joseph’s House and Shelter as a place to act out the compassion of Christ. Joseph’s House and Shelter is a community based not for profit corporation whose purpose is to prevent and alleviate homelessness. The people of Terra Nova donate food and care supplies and work as volunteers serving meals and working in both the emergency shelter and long term housing facilities. We work as activists and a community voice before city government in defense of the homeless. In 2007 volunteers from Terra Nova worked with Joseph’s House to build their first website.
