This has been a great Advent season together as a church. Pastor Scott and the various bands of Terra have led us into worship well. Pastor Ed has taken the Advent themes in a new and fresh direction. Linda Womer did an amazing job with a short children’s program. Aimee Taylor and the Atmosphere team transformed Revolution Hall each week in a uniquely Terra Nova way. Jen Richardson created some gripping original art that was used on screen and in promotion for Advent and Christmas Eve (included below). You, the church worshiped in an honest and multifaceted way. We called you to contribute above and beyond your normal tithes and offerings to help out our two newly supported church planters and you responded to that vision so well. This week, we had the privilege of sending checks for $2700 each to Grace Road in Rochester and Focus21 (Axe21) in Quebec. I know that this is a huge encouragement to the pastors at these two churches. They truly feel that we are standing with them in the calling that God has placed on their hearts. Throughout all of it, we ask the question we always ask as pastors .  .  . “Was Jesus honored, glorified, lifted up, pointed to in all of these efforts.” I cannot help but feel that this is a resounding “yes”.
