Terra Nova Church family,
The Lord God has been working on me during the course of the last year when it comes to this idea of being incarnational. Â As I sit and wait for Emmanuel today I can’t get that idea out of my head and heart.
I pray that in the next year God will give our church a new sense of urgency and a new spirit of boldness as we seek to share him.
I am also praying that God will work in us and show us how to practice the ministry of presence in a more intentional way. Â Is it a contradiction? Â Can we be both simply present and yet at the same time intentional? I think we can, and I’m going to work on that over the course of the next year. Â I hope you will join me in that.
Regardless if it is through our boldness or through our simple presence, I’m praying that people will know Him and love Him, because He chooses to use us, to point people to Him.
Frieda and I love you all. Â We can’t wait to raise our son (due in March) amongst you. Â Serving you, and Him, in ministry at Terra is our great joy.
