Congratulations to our own Jessica Ayotte for her winning photo which was displayed in the July 22 issue of the Schenectady Gazette. Jessica, 16, a Junior this year at Cohoes High school, also teaches one of the Toddler classes at Terra Nova Kids.

Jessica has been taking photographs since her pre-teen years under the mentoring and teaching of Donna Fitzgerald, Photographer, and Martin Benjamin, Photographer and Professor of Visual Arts at Union College. She has a natural ability to sharply capture images of fast moving subjects such as her cross country and track teammates in motion, live bands at various local venues, or, during the month of August, she can be found at the Saratoga Race Track training paddocks photographing the early morning thoroughbred/jockey workouts. She hopes to study in New York City after high school graduation and pursue a career as a professional photographer.
