The Resurgence has just posted the first piece in a series of articles by Pastor Ed about how the church has responded to changes in society. The series will focus on two important eras in recent history: the Industrial Revolution and the Information Age. While some of the content will be theologically and sociologically dense, I would encourage anyone affiliated with Terra Nova to spend some time with it. These are some of the core ideas that led to the formation of our community, and they continue to drive our mission into the future.

The Resurgence, which is run by our friends at Mars Hill Church, is “a movement that resources multiple generations to live for Jesus so that they can effectively reach their cities with the Gospel by staying culturally accessible and Biblically faithful.” They do great work and have a very wide reach in the U.S. and across the globe.
