Yesterday’s Blessing of the Bar at Brown’s was a terrific success. Lead Pastor Ed Marcelle once again offered an inspiring and thought-provoking benediction. Thanks to everyone who made this such a special occasion: Garry and Kelly Brown, Troy Mayor Harry Tutunjian, City Councilman Mark McGrath, and of course all the members of the Terra Nova community who came out for the evening. For many of us, the real blessing was the opportunity to witness an authentic group of Christ-followers engaging in real community with the people of our city.

We can also be thankful that the event received a solid amount of visibility in the Capital Region news media. The Blessing of the Bar was covered by the Times Union, Capital News 9, WTEN Channel 10,  All Over Albany, and the Upstate NY Restaurant Examiner. WRGB Channel 6 broadcast live from Brown’s for their evening newscast.
