You know that new car smell that everyone loves? This new website might not be equipped with smell-O-vision, but it does have a whole bunch of stuff that the old site did not, such as a band audio archive so you can listen to and download songs you hear on sunday, it’s got an improved sermon audio section, a full film archive (we’ve got a few bugs we are working out on that, but there should be a couple films in it at least for now). People at other churches will be able to view and use some of our graphic arts in their church. We’ve finally added online giving. Just about every section from the old site has had some sort of improvement, whether it functions better, or sounds better, or just looks better. Plus, many pages now have pictures on them that help tell our story. This is an entirely new site.
We showed the site to another web geek a few days ago and I think his comment summarizes things well. He said “Finally, we have a site that shows Terra Nova for what it really is”. We feel like this new site will better represent who we are as a church. If we are able to properly communicate who we are, and who we are brings glory to God, then this is worth all of the effort.
We need to thank a few people for bringing this site into existence. First, Kevin Richardson, a Terra Nova attender and designer at Overit Media not only put a ton of time into this site, but worked with his company in helping us get chosen as their 2008 Creatathon project (which means that we got this site for free). Jon from Overit continued to work on the site in his spare time even after the createthon was long over. All of the pastors pitched in to clean up or write content. Thanks to everyone!
We know that there are bugs on the site still. And probably some spelling and grammatical errors. Feel free to email them to us. We may already know about them, but that’s OK. Email your thoughts and corrections for the site to HERE.

Congratulations on your new website! The entire team at Overit is really pleased with how the website came out, and we’re so happy to have done the work for a group of people who will truly make the most out of it. We hope the new website truly provides a rich experience to everyone who views it, and we can’t wait to see the content evolve over time.
