We are going to leave the RPI campus around 1:00 PM. Then it’s a quick trek into the city followed but a long nap. By nap I mean twelve hour flight. I don’t even mind the flight so much because the anticipation of being in Brasil is killing me. During the week we will eat some of the best food in the world, work out butts off, see a soccer game in a foreign country (which can be ridiculous),and become closer with each other and God. My prayer is that this trip not only strengthens and encourages us, but that our experiences will help to strengthen fellowship on the RPI campus and in Troy. Also, I hope we help to further God’s kingdom through our experiences. Brasil is unique, like other missions projects, no two are the same. No matter what the trip we are affected, by God, other people, and the tasks we went to do. Overall, the memories of the good times, the shock of a foreign country, and the faces of the children will last a lifetime.Looking past this upcoming week, all the members of the trip have 5 year visas. God willing this trip may continue to grow; with more servants going to sacrifice their time and energy to give hope to and love children who have been forgotten. Please continue to pray for us as we head to the airport today. Pray for our safety, smooth travel, and that our hearts may be soft and malleable in the Potter’s hands.Graça é Paz-Greg Hahn
