Abolition Week ended a week ago and we were all pretty tired (hence the reason for a lack of blogging). We realised that we never posted a wrap up on the details of the week.
We went into this thing with a couple of goals.
1. Raise $5,000 for JFCI. We raised closer to $5,500. So we can confidently say we met that goal.
2. Raise awareness for this issue of human trafficking. Anyone who was at Terra Nova on Sept. 23rd when Rob spoke, or went to the movie that night, or went to the Derek Webb concert–would say that Awareness has been raised.
