A couple things you may want to go out and invest a couple dollars and some time into:
1} Mark Driscoll‘s new book, “Confessions Of A Reformission Rev” (Zondervan).
Mark is the pastor of Mars Hill Church in Seattle, WA and has been a great help and supporter of Terra Nova. He latest book traces the history of Mars Hill Church, from 12 people in a living room to 4000 people, spread out over three locations. This book should be on the “must read” list for anyone interested in church leadership, church planting, or the emerging church movement.

2} Phil Wickham‘s self-titled debut CD.
Phil is an amazing singer/songwriter/guitarist. Fans of Keane, Jeff Buckley, and Kevin Max will love him.

we’ll have to check out this mark driscoll book. sam just finished “blue like jazz” by donald miller and “angels & demons” by dan brown. both of these are also good reads. i just finished “the davinci code” and next in line is “memoirs of a geisha”. i know you didn’t ask to know all this, but now you do! ;-)
I just picked up a copy of the book when i was in Orlando. I look forward to reading it. I also had another fascinating conversation with my friend Mark and was able to get this on film. soon to be podcasted.

Listened to Phil Wickham and it’s really good. Exactly like Keane. Good beats.
“get your Phil of Driscoll”? I expect more, sir.
Just finished the Driscoll book (thanks again Phil) and loved it. My fav. part comes at the end when he shares a hilarious story about preaching while sick with the flu. I wont go into details … those of you who already read it know what I’m talking about!!
