So, who is up for getting up early, getting together and sharing life, prayer, and Timothy? It has been on my heart to gather the men of terra together and start studying and praying together. The goal is to gather every Tuesday morning. We will rotate between Bible study and prayer. 6:30 in the morning means we can meet before work and still have time to grab breakfast, tea, or whatever @ Deli-icious.
Paul wrote to Timothy to instruct a young man [probably 30] in the faith. Guys, Adam was meant to be so much more. As fallen Adam’s sons seeking the life of Second Adam, Jesus, we must keep pushing. We need brothers to do that. I believe men alone are simply sinners, self-obsessed, and psychos.

why imago?
when God created Adam who was made the imago dei- the image in of God. Adam did not choose that high goal. In a moment that shames us and at the same time stains us, Adam gave up his goal, and the image was tarnished. He was aware of his nakedness to his shame.
it would what Paul [he is the murderous Saul @ the beginning of chapter 8...yeah the bad guy] the life of ‘second Adam” that gave us hope. The naked could be clothed in rightiousness. the dead find life. our line is saved through Christ. He restores the Imago Dei. We may live…we may live now…really live…like Christ.
We are in one image or the other. we battle with a nature that is not like Christ becoming like Christ. We can not do this alone.
men, please consider the imago from the Scriptures. I look forward to teaching it, and sharing it. If we are not at the core about our effort to represent the image of God, what else is it we are about?
