i know we talked on sunday and I answered this question the day after you posted it here–but I’ll answer it again for anyone else reading this. Right now, we use parents cell phones as a notification system. It seems to work well. When a parent checks in a child, they are given a nametag that matches the childs name tag. The child can only be picked up by the parent with the nametag. Your cell phone number is put on file in the rooms and teachers are instructed to call the parent if a child is freaking out.
In the future, when money is no issue, we will invest in the lojack of childcare and get those little restaurant style beepers.

Do you have any plans for some kind of notification system that a lot of churches have? Either you get given a number that can get projected on the screen, or something like that, so that you know if you’re kid is freaking out in the nursery…

We visited Terra Nova once recently, as we’re looking for a church in the area, and it made us nervous to leave our son in there without having any way for you to get in touch with us…
